The CDC suggests self-care as an important and effective way to cope with stress from the COVID pandemic. Additionally, a study of more than 1,500 healthcare workers during the SARS outbreak showed that those who engaged in self-care interventions, such as taking time and space for reflection, experienced improved mental health.
